Artist Statement: My work uses architecture and city spaces as a metaphor for psychological space. Having grown up in a New England mill town I found myself drawn to the abandoned mills. I was fascinated with their lack of purpose, forced existence and historical significance. My work is not post apocalyptic, it is an attempt to accurately depict the chaos and structure of the lifestyles that we have created in the present.
